【イベント】『DTC建築ラボ』報告展示会スタート

イギリスのティーンエイジャーと共にこの1年を通して行なった
建築デザインのプログラム「DTC建築ラボ」の展示が本日からスタートしました。

イギリスのデザイン教育プログラム「spud YOUTH」と共同開催し、
日本に暮らすティーンエイジャーたち8名が「DTC」をもし建て替えるとしたら？
またイギリスに暮らすティーンエイジャーたち10名が「spud」をもし立て替えるとしたら？

それぞれが、自分たちの居場所についてデザインし、
言葉も文化も異なる相手にどうすれば伝わるのか、
設計図を「ラブレター」に見立てて、送り合いました。

今回、日本の子どもたちが考えたデザインの一部が実物大で表現され、
その空間の中で、この1年間の成果をZINEや映像などでご覧いただきます。
イギリスの子どもたちが作った模型も無事イギリスから到着し、一緒に展示いたします。

日本とイギリスの参加者が、同じ図面から起こした模型を見比べたり、
みんなの理想の居場所の一部を実物大で再現したスペースでお過ごしいただきながら、
若い世代が思い描く、若い世代のための新しい居場所をお楽しみください。

Designing the “Future” with British Teens – DTC Architecture Lab
We have been working with teenagers in the UK
DTC Architecture Lab, an architectural design program, opened today.

The exhibition is held in collaboration with “spud YOUTH,” a design education program in the U.K.
What if eight teenagers living in Japan were to rebuild “DTC”?
What if 10 teenagers in the UK were to rebuild “spud”?
The two themes were worked on over the course of a year.

Through the architecture, with the support of the architecture unit Chindon
The year-long exchange with the U.K. will be shown in drawings, models, and videos for all to see.

Participants from Japan and the U.K. can compare models created from the same drawings.
Please spend time in the space that recreates everyone’s ideal place to live.
